He provided extensive support and detailed/technical feedback to improve my driving, especially with parallel parking and 3-point turns. I passed the test on my first go with the help from Nev, where he always made sure I was comfortable with, and could complete, the major and small parts of the test effectively such as head checks. Overall, a great driving school with experienced and dedicated instructors.

With Nevs calm and fun lessons and encouragement (and with a little help from Timmy, Tommy, Andy, Mike, and the MIB) I was able to get over my anxiety and pass my test first go. I cannot recommend him enough and will honestly miss our fun drives.

The way he teaches is so seamless and creates a no pressure environment in which driving lessons are fun. His reverse parking instructions are so simple and fail safe that the manoeuvres part of the test becomes a non issue. I genuinely don't think I'd have passed without him. This was our third child that has learnt to drive with North Shore Driving School, but the first one to have Nev as his instructor. From the first drive, to the final drive (test day package), Nev was fabulous. Nev has a calm, reassuring and friendly manner, that instantly made our son feel comfortable and engaged to learn, and happy to continue doing lessons. He learnt all the basics (I mean, he literally hadn't driven a car) from Nev, and then had lessons here and there over the 12 month period to keep him on the right path and to pick up any bad habits he may have acquired. In the final weeks leading up to him going for his "P"'s, he did more lessons with Nev, each one valuable, and again, Nev's guidance and instructions on the necessary requirements to pass the test, as well as being a great driver, was greatly appreciated. If we had another child in need of driving lessons, we would definitely book them in with Nev again, and think that anyone looking for a great instructor for their child, you need look no further, Nev is a gem.
