I have been driving in Australia with my International driver´s license from South America. But I had to take the test to get my Australian license. I am 26 and I was extremely scared of taking the test. I took a Driving Test Preparation Lesson with Ben. Besides instructing with such patience and calm, Ben showed me the premise of Service NSW and what paperwork to do on test day so I could get familiar with the process. He is very experienced and professional. On the test day, I was so scared that I was shaking. I was waiting for the Service NSW instructor to call my name and start the driving test. Suddenly Ben showed up, he just came to say good luck. Seeing a familiar face was a game changer for me, I felt so much confident and peaceful after that. My point is, he knew how nervous I was before the test and he did everything he could to help me feeling better. I ended up passing the test on the first go!! So so happy. Thanks Ben and North Shore Driving school.

Ben has huge experience in this field, and the most distinctive thing about him is that he knows HOW to instruct you and WHEN to do so. That's so wise, especially when it comes to a difficult thing like driving. Besides, he never disappoints you and does not make you feel bad about your driving when you have some bad days. He also so funny, and will make you giggle to cheer you up and get you out of the stressful mood, so that's a bonus ^_^

Anyone reading this, please don't undervalue the learning of necessary skills to be a competent, safe, defensive driver. After all, driving is in effect, operating a large machine and dealing with other drivers who are also in that position but may not be safe. He explains things well and as he has been a driving inspector he knows what is expected in the test and the roads that the test may be done on, which was very helpful. A massive thank you to Ben!! I had some time pressure to get my license and no car to practice in. When I explained my situation to Ben he mapped out a plan for me and we got to work. After 8 hours of lessons, I used his car on my test day and passed first go.

Ben was incredibly patient, friendly, and perceptive! I was having difficulty with my parallel parking and after our first session was put completely at ease! Heading into the test, I felt very prepared, all thanks to his guidance. Can't recommend enough!!
